New York Biomass Power
This project converted an idled 60 MW coal fired power plant to a 60 MW biomass fueled power plant. A new fuel yard was added, the original coal yard was rebuilt, fuel bins and fuel handling were rebuilt, upgrades were made to three boilers including adding vortex breakers, expanding the mechanical dust collectors, structurally modifying bag houses, new ID fans, expanded station services, new DCS, and new cooling tower.
