Big changes at Mid-South Engineering

Mid-South Engineering recently bid a happy retirement to President Marc Stewart after 27 years with the company. Says Stewart, “Leaving my daily interactions with this team leaves a Mid-South-logo-shaped hole in my heart.” While we’re sad to say goodbye, we wish Marc all the best in the next phase of his life.

Assuming the role of President is Chris Brown, who has been with the company for 28 years, most recently as Vice President. Devoting his entire career to the building products industry, his vast project and process knowledge will allow him to support project execution in its entirety. We look forward to seeing the team grow under Chris’s leadership.

John Westerman will be assuming the role of Vice President in Chris Brown’s place. John has served as project engineer, project manager, and more recently as Group Manager of Solid Wood Projects. In his 28+ years at Mid-South, John has earned a reputation for delivering world-class sawmill projects.
